Images (1) to (17) Above - Are from Gough's cave, a large and very impressive system of caverns whilst (18) & (19) are from a more "commercialised" cave further into Cheddar which did not impress me one bit, suppose its mainly for little ones. (20) to (23) are Jacob's Ladder and the view from the watchtower on top. (21) looks out across the Somerset levels towards Glastonbury Tor, the mound in the central distance.(22) Looks at the entrance to the Gorge, from the top (24) to (27) are across the road in the exhibition to "Cheddar Man". The remainder of the images are of the Gorge itself from up the road from the commercial section. All in all, worthy of a day out, plenty to see and do and some interesting shops nestle alongside the Gorge road. Some original cottages too. (35) & (36) show a hawk circling in the thermals over the Gorge. I didn't know he was there till I viewed these images on my pc.
