Imperial War Museum Duxford July 24th 2017

I was really looking forward to this, my first visit to Duxford. Several things 'annoyed' me. Firstly the layout could be much better, many planes were hidden from vierw by others.
Public walkways would not allow people to go around aircraft in one or two hangars. Cost of food was exorbitant and drinks were VERY expensive.
Finally, a few of the exhibits were  wearing covers over their canopies, which resulted in not getting photographed. Not worth it. And dust covered many planes.
Finally, why were civilian aircraft on display both inside and outside the hangars?? This is an Imperial WAR Museum not a  Civilian Aircraft Museum.

Below. The ill fated TSR2. Way ahead of its time, it was 'too good'' and the Labour government scrapped it thereby
wasting billions of public money in the process.

Not a passenger version but a test bed. The instruments you will see are for engineers to evaulate performances
