Thomasland

June 2014

I took my grandsons to Thomasland, they loved but, but it is rather pricy as it includes admittance to Drayton Manor Amusement Park, whether you like it, or not.
Two children and two adults, sweets and maybe a small toy, not much change out of £100. Take your own food if possible.

The main thing is that the youngsters enjoy it, after all, thats what its there for. The 'Fat Controller' sings from a balcony - oh dear!

The model railway is a spendid piece of miniaturisation and is indoors by the Farm which is at the end of the line of the short train ride. But its beginning to look slightly shoddy and could do with a sprucing up.

There is a small dinosaur garden with large static models and a small zoo

In Drayton Manor Amusement Park, if you wish, you can go on a lake cruise. Sometimes lucky enough to see some wildlife too

The amusement park itself is like any other, so did not worry too much about taking images of that side of it.
